Beneficial Foods, located at Adawehi in Columbus, has a passion for nutrition, a love for farming, and a commitment to sustainable communities.

Fresh produce from our gardens is seasonally available at Beneficial Foods and Polk County’s weekly Tailgate Market.

We’ve been honored to receive a grant for the 2009 Demonstration Project by Western North Carolina Agricultural Options Program. This allowed us to build a greenhouse to extend the growing season of the gardens.

Produce along with other organic items (food, green cleaning products and Health & Beauty products) can be purchased at the Beneficial Foods store on the Adawehi Campus, which is open to all.
